Who we
are.

What we collect,
and why.

Your account. Name, email address and phone number, so we can confirm bookings, tell you who your driver is, and let your driver reach you on the day.

Your trips. Pickup and drop-off addresses, dates and times, flight number, passenger and luggage counts, and any notes you add. This is the booking itself.

Your location — passengers. When you place a pin on the map to set a pickup or drop-off point, the app uses your device location if you allow it. We store the point you chose, not your movements.

Your location — drivers. While a trip is running, the driver's location is shared with their passenger so the passenger can see the car approaching. It is collected only during a live trip and stops automatically when the trip ends.

Messages. Messages you send to your driver, or your driver sends to you, through the app.

Driver documents. Drivers upload licence and insurance documents so we can verify them. Passengers never see these.

Device token for notifications. So we can tell you when your driver is assigned, has confirmed, or has set off.

What we do
not collect.

We do not take card payments in the app and do not store card numbers — you pay your driver directly. We do not track you across other apps or websites, do not sell or rent your information to anyone, and do not use your data for advertising.

Who can
see what.

Your driver sees your name, your phone number only while the trip is live, your pickup and drop-off, flight details and your messages. You see your driver's name, photo, car and plate, and their live location during the trip. AirGate sees bookings in order to run them.

Where it
is kept.

Your data is stored with our cloud database provider, Supabase, protected by row-level security so that each account can only read its own records. Data travels encrypted.

How long
we keep it.

Trip records are kept for as long as Canadian tax and accounting rules require, then deleted. Messages and driver location records are kept only as long as needed to run and support the trip.

Deleting
your account.

You can delete your account yourself in the app: Account → Delete my account. This removes your personal details and signs you out everywhere. Trip records we are legally required to keep are anonymised so they no longer identify you.

Children.

AirGate accounts are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Your
rights.

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent. Email info@airgatelimo.com and we will respond within 30 days.

This
website.

The website planner does not send your trip details to AirGate, contact a driver, accept payment or create a reservation. Details stay in the page while it is open; copying or downloading a summary is an action you choose. The planner does not store your details in browser storage. Our website host may process standard access logs.

Changes.

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
